What do you think of the Kia Soul?
I’m hoping to buy one in the next 6 months.
I want to keep the price under $10000. Can I get a good one under $5000?
I do a later of food delivery so I like the shape.

Was thinking of the links MountainManJoe posted above when you asked this question. All I will add to it is that Kia/Hyundai are the exact opposite of reliable and good when it comes to cars.
A coworker lost the engine in her Kia Soul at 70,000 miles. Covered under warranty.
Another coworker has a Hyundai Sonata with 60,000 miles. She can't wait to trade it in for all the problems. Coolant leak, computer module, leaking AC, and now it needs an alternator.
The first lady traded in for another Kia model.
The 2nd said she's looking at a Jeep cherokee (I said, "Noooo! Don't do it!). Now, she's leaning towards a Subaru Crosstrek.
Well, Kia Souls are JUNK. I saw a video on youtube the other day and the CVT transmission went out under 650 miles. Their 4 cylinder engines suck and will probably blow up during the warranty period. You are better off buying a Civic or Corolla Hatch since they are superior and much better made. The Kia has no "Soul" when it comes to reliability and build quality.
If you want a cheep disposable car the Kia Soul is an excellent choice. If you're looking for value and longevity in a car you should follow the advice being offered here. Good luck.
Unfortunately, Korean cars don't even hold up in the short term. Who wants to deal with that.

Believe it or not I would agree. I like the bigger Kia's like the Sorento and the Teluride but the Soul. I test drove one for my niece and it drove like a tank. You could not here yourself think it was so noisy. It is an econobox but Toyota and Honda make much better cars in this class and price range.
