scotty I have a 2011 kia sportage ex and when going up a hill it tends to make a change in the power motor and I have to accelerate harder again to get it going correctly. What could it be

Well that's pretty much all those things go when they age the transmission is a little bit weak and they will downshift and then require more acceleration that's sort of the nature of those things one reason I tell people not to buy Korean cars

okay. then it also happens to me on the highway. like a change in force and the engine kind of holds up, is it the transmission anyway? it only has 54,000 miles
