Kia's reversed turn signals

Hi Scotti

Love the videos.

Recently my wife got all panicky. She read that Kia had built a bunch of cars with the turn signals reversed. We just bought a Kia Sorento. I went out and checked and our turn signals seem to work just fine. Right and left are correct. Now I am getting panicky. I am an electrical engineer by trade and one of the most dreaded words in our language is intermittent. Could the wrong rear turn signal light illuminate intermittently? It's under software control. The fix is a software update. They used to be hard wired. As a teenager I worked on the infamous 3 light sequential turn signal on the 1970's Thunderbird. Mechanics would install the tail lens board upside down and the sequence would flash in the wrong direction. I talked to the dealer and they said my particular car was not on the list but this is the same dealer who said I was imagining my car was to cold when there was shrink wrap on the cabin air filter.

By the way my wife said your looking thinner. Is everything OK? Are you dieting?

Contrary to previous requests not to tell my wife in this case:  Tell my wife please ! {black}

Can't blame you. I wouldn't trust the dealer or the car either.

Or even the manufacturer..
