I have a 2014 Dodge Charger. I had a kill switch installed. A few months later I began getting stranded from a dead battery. My mechanic says it’s because of the kill switch? Is this possible? My layman understanding is that a kill switch disconnect all electrical systems to prevent battery drain?

Depends on the switch is wired there's a lot of idiots out there that will put it in the wrong place and it ends up draining power or shorting the system out

remove the switch. If the problem goes away then you've answered your question.
