You ask a question that has no right answer. "how long will it last" is impossible to know here. Did you have compression tests done, at a minimum? Did anyone check it mechanically? Any service records? So many details missing to make a final judgement.
A 17 year old vehicle with 130,000miles is less than 8,000miles a year. Does the vehicle looks match the lack of use conditions? Do service records prove the mileage? Did the speedometer get turned back at some time? Again, so many opinions that have no data to prove them.
As for the money/value of anything that is always what the two, buyer and seller, are willing to agree on. Sellers always set high prices. Buyers always want to pay less. That is Capitalism.
