Hello Scotty,

I'm Adam from Canada Ontario  and i have 2012 civic lx , automatic transmission. 220,000 KM, no codes , I had fuel injectors changed,  then the knocking noise start to increase slowly with time , I thought it was lifters noise,  so I had lifters adjusted but still same ... local mechanic says it could be crankshaft bearings noise.

This is youtube link of engine noise of my civic.

Well it's definitely noise in the valve drain. It could be bad enough that it's just flat worn and stuff like the camshaft has wear on it and it's going to clack away. A good mechanic would have to pull off the valve cover gasket and then check everything and see if it's rocker arms or something else that's clacky but from my experience of that mileage on the Honda a lot of times it's just plain valve drain wear that you have to live with unless you want to rebuild the whole engine

@scottykilmer thanks scotty for the clarification.... do you think with good care and oil change the car can last a year or two or won't make it?
