Hi, I have a 1997 Acura CL 2.2. with 350,000 and it is a stick shift. I hear a "metal" grinding/squeak sound. It makes the grinding noise in cycles as the wheel spins. Sometimes continuous but usually grind/squeak, grind/squeak, grind/squeak as the tire moves. At slow speeds such as 1 mph and at fast speeds it makes the noise. It makes the noise loudest when turning. Going forward or in reverse it makes the grind/squeak. Sometimes it doesn't make the noise when going straight. The brakes are NOT pressed. A mechanic changed the rear brake pads but that didn't fix it. What could this be? Is it the bearings?

Yes, that's a classic sign of a worn out wheel bearing
