Hi Scotty,

I removed the O2 sensor from my Lancer 2001 1.8L Sedan. It is Denso 065500-3841 (07B06). It has two wires white & blue. When I check resistance it shows nothing (like open circuit). But when I check voltage it changes between 0-1. Is this a bad O2 sensor/Should I replace it? I heard O2 sensor with three or more wires  have heater circuit. Does that men two wire O2 sensor should not show resistance?

Well it's showing the voltage change and that's how they work don't worry about it those do not have heaters in them so you can't test them that way

mmm..my efforts to tackle poor acceleration seems going no where-Last resort was to check O2 sensor which seems no need replacing. Some suggests MAF sensor replace, timing check...NO idea what to do

As for the poor acceleration. Maintenance is your friend. Plugs, coils, wires, oil change, air filter, clean throttle body and maf. Buy a good fuel system cleaner. The car is getting old you might have some compression loss and normal wear and tear. This is what I would do if it's my car and parts haven't been replaced in awhile.
