I just bought a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid with the CVT transmissions. The car has 148,000 miles on and I have no history on fluid changes. Would you recommend changing the fluid or just leaving it? I know with automatic transmission it can be bad if you change it if it has never been changed but does this apply to CVTs. I am not currently having any issues with the transmission just trying to do preventative maintenance so I can keep this carfor years to come.

Well if you want to keep it forever I definitely would change the fluid I would just drain and fill and use Honda fluid
