Hello Scotty, what are your thoughts about the completely redesigned 2022 Land Rover Defender. Did it just fall from being a tough 4WD to being one more undependable Land Rover (Range Rover, Discovery, etc.)
Yes.
Same old money pit vehicle. I wouldn’t even lease one if the payments were free! I like my vehicles running and not leaving me stranded and/or spending time in the shop (even under warranty). My time is precious.
That video series was some entertaining stuff right there. I like the TFL guys, though they tend to be a bit credulous about the newest, shiniest tech. In this case, they were quite gracious (in general they all seem like genuinely nice people), even though the Defender they bought was undeniably a turd. If anything, their grace made the Defender look even worse, because they were clearly trying to like it.
Exactly! They were trying so hard to like an atrocious product! Nobody in their right mind would wait for so many replacement vehicles, but I guess they figured they’d recoup their $$$ in views. Yeah, I’m not a fan of their latest & greatest craze, although they’re relatively neutral about it.
I once saw a Land Cruiser with a custom plate saying "ROVRRSQ" (rover rescue) and I'm sure it's still a true statement.
