Im currently in the market for a car. I have seen a listing for a 2001 land rover discovery all wheel drive for $1,500. It has 134,000 miles on it and needs a front drive shaft and transfer case. Is this worth it, or are these problems going to be overwhelming?

That sound like a good scam going there. Buy scrap vehicles for four hundred and sell them for fifteen hundred. All you need is a clunker and a all day sucker.

You will spend more on your first repair, which will be coming very soon, than you paid for the thing. Avoid it.
