Howdy Scotty,
I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Ridgeline with 220,000 miles. I got it checked out and I was told it will need new brakes and I should get the timing bel kit put on but other than that great condition.
I had a local shop install a kit I bought from Autozone and now they say they can't get the water pump to seal. It was not leaking when I took it in. What can I do now?

Where is it leaking? The new pump may be defective. That's the problem with bringing your own parts to a mechanic, they're only guaranteeing their labor and you're on the hook for replacing a defective new part.
It's leaking around the seal. He said they we're going to reseal it and let it set overnight.
Hopefully the pump body isn't warped or cracked.
