Should I instal LED Headlights in my 2014 Civic?

I have a 2014 Honda Civic Lx with 250,000 miles.  What are the benefits of LED Headlights?  Do they improve vision of the road at night or when it is raining?  Also, I do not feel comfortable installing them myself.  Can I take the car to a big name repair shop or would I be better off taking it to a dealer for installation?  Thanks.

Basically, only looks, and maybe they run cooler than halogens.

They are dangerous in the rain, because the white light tends to not provide sufficient visibility. They are expensive to replace in headlights with an LED array. They do however improve visibility at night, when dry outside.

In vehicles with stock halogen bulbs, the LEDs require extensive rewiring like Scotty demonstrated in a recent video -

Unless you’re facing major visibility issues (lack of), I’d recommend you just leave your Civic alone.

All the best.

don't forget they reduce your eyes natural ability to see in the dark
