Should I buy a 2011 Lexus CT200 hybrid 5dr?

Thoughts on getting a 2011/12 Lexus CT200h if it has under 200k km?

Will the battery last another 5 years?

Any other issues maintenance wise to worry about?

For context I'll be living near the Canadian Rockies so I'm hoping the ground clearance is good enough for winters. Won't be doing any kind of gravel road driving until summers.

Thanks!

Probably not.

It may, it may not - but chances are that the batteries ages and are on their way out.

ground clearance

The CT has 5.7 inches of ground clearance - a bit (0.1 inch) less than the Corolla it's based on.

For reference, a 3rd gen Mazda3 had 6.1 inches, which is about the same as the average small crossover.

how much under?

Depends on price.

I assume you're referring to the high voltage hybrid battery. I doubt it.

Especially in the cold Rockies.

don't even think about gravel roads

I recently been seeing some with 100k - 150k kilometers, going for minimum 15K (Canadian Dollars), if the hybrid battery lasts me at least another 100k km I'll be happy. And yeah gravel roads aren't much of a priority rn haha I'll save them for when I get a crosstrek in the future. Thanks for the reply!
