Hi, my inlaw is looking to get a lexus es 350, 130k miles. Are there any known issues he should lookout for?

Far from a problem model - but that's if the one in question hasn't been neglected, crashed, flooded, salvage titled - these items apply, of course to any used car.

Yes. if you can any good car at a good price during this inflation, go for it.
But if it seems a bit too good to be true get it checked out mainly the automatic transmission and being that it's a V6 there is not much area to inspect so have a look under the car to see if any oil dripping.
