Hey Scotty , I have a 09 Lexus ES350 with 257K miles made in Japan imported from the US. I’m currently the third owner, I’ve spent about 1500$ fixing it from leaks caused by worn out seals and power steering pump and other stuff since I got it in November 2022 and I’m trying to get rid of it since it already has no catalytic converters which were stolen from the previous owner of the car, Anyways I’m currently looking at 15-17 Toyota Camrys just to get away from an endless money pit for a while and I believe a good Camry can serve me well for sometime until I get a newer Lexus as a second car I just love the driving experience of a Lexus , sorry if I have made this way too long let me know what you think god bless ya Scotty.

It should be a very similar drive to the Lexus possibly even better if it's newer and has lower miles

I’m not totally sure about that , Lexus always been producing cars with smoother rides than Toyotas , anyways I’m still looking on both sides if I can get a good deal on a newer Lexus that’s well maintained or if I give up from the rising prices I’ll start looking at good camyrs I know they can run for lots of miles with usual maintenance.

I believe it's usually the same engine and transmission

Yes it’s the same engine and trans but Lexus sound isolation combined with the ride smoothness is just unbeatable.

I just think that a newer Camry with newer suspension will probably very be very similar ride to your older Lexus if not better
Take a few Camrys on a test drive and see what you think
