New or used? Your budget?

new/ budget 75K

A Honda Pilot "Elite" might meet your needs.

to be honest, I'm in love with American cars. If thats the case, do you recommend a GM full size suvs ( tahoe/yukon) or the Ford Expedition taking into consideration reliability and safety.

Quality for both those companies is terrible, so if you're looking for reliability Ford and GM are not good choices. (Ford's quality is so bad even the CEO has acknowledged the problem.) Chrysler is no better, probably even worse. It's sad but these days the American car companies are at the bottom of the heap for quality and reliability. Of course that's painting with a broad brush and it's possible someone else here may have a different opinion of specific models that may be OK.

I see. Then can you think off any full size suv that you'd recommend other than the honda pilot that has also good crash test results and also reliable? please not the sequoia its not sold in my country 🙁

Mazda CX-9 and Subaru Ascent come to mind but I'd be concerned about long-term reliability of their 4-cylinder turbocharged engines in vehicles that size. The Ascent compounds the problem since it additionally uses a CVT. (The Mazda has a conventional 6-speed automatic transmission.)

The thing is that here in the U.S. market if you want something reliable you're pretty much going to be looking at Japanese makes. Your market may well be different.

Are you able to get a Lexus GX in your country

lexus Gx not spacious.

Unfortunately GM products haven't been good for over 20 years and Ford products for about 10

If you're okay with getting a used car then I would recommend a Ford Expedition with the 5.4 l V8 but if you want something newer you can see if you could find the 4Runner with the third row or you can get a Highlander or one of the full size Lexus SUVs

which year model? what about 2022 ford expedition ?

Unfortunately the American car manufacturers have not been reliable for quite a while
I would not buy any modern Ford GM or jeep Chrysler Dodge product

Lexus LX or Land Cruiser.

I don't know where you live but depending on where you are and you want new and not the Honda Pilot then definitely Toyota Land Cruiser. Or there is the Toyota Fortuner for the Gulf countries. (It would help if you state what country you live).

Since you have a budget of $75K, I would suggest a Volvo XC90. It has an Toyota/Aisin 8-speed transmission, seats 7, and runs for about $65K. Another option would be the Acura MDX. It costs $58K and seats 7. You just have to replace the timing belt every 100K miles.

Good luck with your vehicle search.

I think you are in Kuwait Mohammed, I am in the UAE and I think the best options at your budget would be:

1. Nissan Patrol 2nd Option not full option

2. Lexus GX Full option and you would save money. I know It is not as spacious as other options but trust me if taken care of you could inherit these cars LOL

Unfortunately the al new Land cruiser and Lexus LX are above your budget and they are not as they used to be since now they are twin turbos with V6 rather than the old tried and true V8 5.7 or 4.6.

If you can settle with used you can find clean 2019-2021 Land cruiser Vxr or 2019-2021 LX570 these would be the absolute best options out there period.. And If I were in your shoe I would prefer that to be honest over the new Land cruiser / LX designs since their reliability is still questioned of course compared to old models and I think they are excessively expensive for what they offer.
