What’s up, found a 1999 Lexus GS 300, automatic, 116k miles, $5k. I went the lexus route because Scotty approves of them and it was too hard to find a decent 05-06 CRV for $5k.
How do these engines & transmissions hold up as a daily driver? I really appreciate any help / info! Thanks!

They are great cars but realize that it is a 23 years old luxury sedan. Parts as well as the labors are expensive on that car. If it has been well taken care of and your mechanic checks it out, it can be a decent car but considering the age of the car, you should expect to spend some money on the repairs as well.
