Hello Scotty,

I have bought a new PCM for my Dodge Nitro R/T 4 liter 2008, I have obd2 codes P0172 SYS to rich Bank 1 and P0175 Fuel SYS 2/1 rich, after replacing all my 4

oxygen sensors only using original mopar parts. In a answer from you from my last question you informed me( those are notorious for having bad computers) which I thank you for, and I later found a TSB for my car stating problem with the PCM already in 2008, which says(rough idle and a drop in engine speed upon gear engagement after cold start)

Which is the exact what my car does now.

My question is, which diagnostic tool could you recommend I should get to reprogram my PCM?

Brgds

If you do not have a higher level scan tool, find a mechanic to do it for you.

Ok, that's the thing, sorry should have said I live in France. The so called dealer here was Fiat/Jeep but they said they can't do it, and one Dodge Ram Garage/importer from USA to France the same??

Are there a big difference in Dodge car and truck when it comes to PCM programming??

Find a mechanic who works on these cars. He should be able to propgram the PCM. If you have a proper scan tool, there is no differnce betweem the truck and a car in terms of programming the computer.

Ok Thanks for your help.
Best regards
