Scotty, i love your honesty, i have a question i own an American japanese made Lexus gs 350 AWD. I'm in Canada. i bought this car over six years ago, has not let me down since. My battery keeps going empty, and i need to recharge every two days if i don't use the car. It has 219 000 miles on it. I need new exhaust, new front lights, only burns one pint of oil in the winter time every 3000 miles. should i invest in this car, or get a new lexus?
What model year?
An electric drain might be easy or hard or diagnose or fix, but you should at least look into fixing it before you send a presumably otherwise decent working car to the crusher.

How old is your battery - is it a quality battery on top of that? And for how long has it been draining your battery - is it a new problem or been happening for a while (including on the old battery)?
