I'm a big fan, I've watched many of your videos and really enjoy them.
What's ur thoughts on a Lexus gx470 with 190000 miles on it.
I stopped a guy on the street with it and had him pull over so I can look at it.He told me he was looking to sell it because he wanted a new one for his 50th birthday.
Seemed like a legit guy .
I offered 4k for it and he said 4700 is what he thinks the dealership will give him .
The check engine light is on .
He said he did alout of updates for it already and has the paperwork.
Does it make sense to buy the SUV with so many miles at that price?
What should I look out for ?
These are quite a lot of miles, but being a Lexus can go still for some time.
Have surely a mechanic you trust check it with their scan tool (engine check light on is not normal) and that the car is in good condition (not being in a wreck/ flood / stolen..).
You can’t trust anyone, especially a guy you stop on the street.
