I test drove the 2021 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L 4-cylinder and it didn't have much power. I occasionally tow a car dolly. Is it worth it to buy it and supercharge it or just buy the V6

I prefer to keep things simple so suggest the V6.
If you do not tow very often, then possibly consider a rental truck when needed.

Definitely v6. They haven't changed the design of the 4 at all
Unless you want to get a tuner and add some yourself. I did that to my truck which is a Chevrolet Colorado with the mini diesel. the engine was really slow so I tuned it for more pep
