Hey Scotty! I have a 2016 Lexus IS200t with 38k mikes on it. The “maintenance required” light came up, even though the oil, water, and filters are all good. Any idea what it could be? I think it might just be the computer software malfunctioning a bit but I’m not sure.
It could be the mileage was not reset after service. This happened to me when my check engine light came on. The next time I needed my oil changed, I went to another place and they changed the oil and reset it. It hasn’t been on since.

Are you sure the mileage was reset after the most recent service? Sometimes the tech will forget and it will come on thinking you need an oil change.

does it give a code. Like 'A' or 'B2' etc.?
