Have a 2015 Lexus RX 350 8 speed automatic transmission with 30,000 kilometers bought used at the dealership. Engine has a rattling sound when start during the first minute or two. The colder outside the stronger the sound. When temperature is below 60 F the rattle turns into a strong knocking. What can be wrong? I understand it is common for these engines to have a rattling when started.

Could be the valves and pretty expensive repair if need to be done. Take the car to a trustworthy mechanic to check it.
