Hey Scotty, sorry to bother you again
I have been driving on a highway with my RX350 and the check engine light with VSC off appeared on my dashboard.
went to my mechanic we connected the scan tool and the error code was P0158 , oxygen sensor 2 bank 2. We replaced the faulty sensor with the original from Denso - DOX0257, erased the codes and I drove home . However after few kilometers the check engine light came back showing the same error message. What could it be ?
could it be that we replaced a wrong sensor ? Or perhaps I should have also changed the sensor 2 Bank 1 as well ? Could it be a problem in the catalytic converter? The gas consumption did not increase , the engine runs smooth, and no loss of power. I’m really confused.

Well just an update 🙂 it turned out to be oxygen sensor B2 S1 as well . After replacing both B2 S2 and B2 S1 Sensors the Problem went away and didn’t come back.

Try these. Since the sensor was replaced already I would start with the simple stuff and move up the chain (costs more money) like start with intake and exhaust leaks and go from there.
Thanks Bruce , I’ll try to go by a method of ellimination praying that it’s not a catalytic converter which is not functioning properly. I always use 95 octane petrol
