I bought this 2016 Lexus RX350 new. It has only 35K miles. I notice an occasional screech upon startup. Screech lasts about 1-2 seconds. I thought it was serpentine belt, until I realized that I could hear the screech with Ignition on and engine NOT running. Sometimes I hear what sounds like a small fan running, then sometimes it will screech. Any ideas?

The only significant mechanical thing that runs when you turn the key on, but do not start the engine is the fuel pump, which is located in the gas tank. I would try to see if that is what is creating the screech.
