Hi Scotty,
I have a lincoln town car 1995 and I can't seem to get the level of the transmission fluid right? it's best to check it when it's hot correct, and what is the best way to drain the fluid if i need to, thanks.

You should check the fluid at normal operating temperature to get an accurate reading. You want the transmission fluid still warm and the engine has cooled for the optimal time to change the fluid. .

The level is checked on a level surface, car idling in park. If too much, get a Mighty Vac ans suck off the excess out the dipstick hole. You'll need a long piece of tubing.
