Which reliable comfortable sedan should I buy for <$35,000?

Looking at a daily new driver to keep for a long time, but also having comforts...

So far the vehicles I looked at were the subaru WRX (no.), toyota camry and corolla, chevrolet malibu, and the car I so far am probably interested in, mazda 3 turbo.

Basically is there anything that I should be aware that the mazda has serious problems on, like powertrain, electronics, ect. And any other vehicles that I should look at for sedans? I still want full comforts and I'm trying not to spend over 35k. (msrb.)

The modern Mazdas are fine if you're buying a brand new one they got a deal going with Toyota and they do make much better cars than they used to

Yep appreciate the answer!

Check Avalon and Lexus ES350 as well.

I'll take a look at Lexus, the Trim I wanted was way out of my price range for the Avalon (comfort > style as my daily driver)

Nvm Lexus is also way outside my price range.

If you are like me, and drive on long trips, and maybe have a little bit of a sore back after long drives, definitely Consider Yaser's advice. If you would consider used, a big Lexus car or Avalon will get you to your destination in comfort, and will last forever if you take half way decent care of it. Those types of cars also have benefits some may not appreciate, like better sound deadening, something my old 4runner didn't have, and now my tinnitus in my ears remind me. I drive a Lexus GX470, and after my 2500+ mile road trips, I never regret getting it.

I really enjoy my 2020 Accord 2.0T Sport with the 10-speed auto. Just crossed 30k miles and it has been running like a top.

I've done the recommended maintenance on time, but other than that...nothing. It hasn't seen the dealer since I bought it.

It is my first real Honda vehicle as I had an old clunker in 1991 that was an awful car but it wasn't Honda's fault as it had been through a HARD life.

I actually like my Accord so much I bought a 2021 Ridgeline HPD to park next to it. And I've been someone who has owned muscle cars his whole life, so it is a totally different animal. But the reliability is nice and my Accord MSRP'd for right under $33k.

If you’re looking at the Mazda 3 turbo, you might as well give the Accord turbo a look.

@mod_man may want to tell you all about it..

I'll take a look at the accord again appreciated

Don't buy the Malibu since they are rolling piles of junk, replace it with a Mazda6 since they are excellent cars made in Japan.
