-> Going to be looking at a '99 Lexus es300 with 78k miles and one owner.
-> Is the engine an interference or non-interference engine?
-> What else should I watch out for in terms of red flags and common issues?
Just a heads up : I only drive around 10,000 miles a year so would it serve as a good daily or will it need a hefty amount of maintenance due to its age? Thanks.

That mileage is highly suspect for a 23 year old car. Have it checked out by a mechanic BEFORE purchase.

It is a non-interference engine and if somebody can prove that's the real mileage that would be a great car to buy. My wife's 2002 ES300 still looks like new
