Hey Scotty,
I've been looking to al lot of your videos, great content! Thanks so much for all those tips and honest information!
I'm looking for an used automatic car for my wife, it's her first car, and we don't want to spend much. So we where thinking on buying a 2008 - 2011 Honda Fit, but I feel like it's a bit noisy and small for rear passengers. We were also considering a Yaris, but I see on your videos that you recommend mostly Corollas...
So I've started looking for a Corolla or a Camry, I found an used Camry 2004 x 3000$ CAD (2400USD) with 109 000 KM so around 65K miles, they say the muffler needs to be changed but other than that the car seems to be in a good shape. Do you think it's a good deal ? And would you recommend the Honda Fit or it's better if we stick to the Toyota's since we're looking for cars that 10 years or older?
Thanks so much for your time, greetings from Canada!
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a Honda Fit, if a professional mechanic checks it out & gives you the green light, before purchase.
Ditto for the Camry.
Have your wife test drive both vehicles extensively to check which one she likes better.
For the Camry you’re looking at, I’d definitely get it inspected by a trusted mechanic to verify that it only needs a muffler & nothing else. You don’t want to get stuck with an endless money pit, after purchase.
All the best!
Thanks a lot for your quick answer, really appreciate that! 🙂
No worries & good luck car hunting!
