If you want to buy another car, consider Toyota or Honda. Ford quality is not even close to them.

Why don't you keep it if you like it? How much do repairs cost you?

So $8k isn't horrible for a used car depending on the age and mileage. It's true used cars are more expensive compared to before but $8k isn't something not normal.

There's a reason why they are cheaper than a Corolla; they don't have the quality the Corolla has.

In general don't buy used hybrid because you will end up with the cost of replacing the hybrid battery sooner than if you had bought one new. Also, with hybrid first Toyota then Honda.

That would be a massive downgrade as far as reliability.

There are no free meals - there is a reason why these are cheap.

i love my little corolla

So what about a newer Corolla? They used to offer conventional automatics until recently.

NO! IT IS HORRID!

From my point of view, I think you're fine with your Corolla. Those cars can last for a good amount of time as long as you take care of it by changing the oil after 5K miles and changing the belt after every 100K miles on it as well for example. If you're wanting a newer used car, the Fusion can be great cars. Again, as long as you maintain it well enough it'll be very dependable. Just know that even though part of the Fusion was made by Volvo, it still doesn't beat your current car.

Yeah the corolla has some serious issues I don't want to repair it anymore now it has an electrical problem so the fan won't work the radiator fan I took it to a mechanic but I don't want dump more money on the corolla I've spent round 3 grand repairing I'm not going spend anymore
