I have a 2003 chevy suburban it goes through 1rst gear just fine. 2nd gear it's slips straight out and rpm revs all the way up. It doesn't catch another gear just first gear. I have changed my transmission shift solenoids a and b.
millage?

Send the vehicle to a transmission specialist and go from there. If you are in a pinch, put one quart of the trans. fluid out and put in one quart of the Lucas anti-slip fluid.

What did the fluid and magnet look like when you did the solenoids?
The transmission is probably done.
you need to read everything in the instructions though, sir.
