[Solved] Hard start after driving

  1. My 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4 liter 6 cylinder engine OBI with 218,500 miles starts great when cold and runs great but when I turn it off to go to the store, I have to put the pedal to the floor for it start.

What should I do to fix the hard start when the engine is warm from driving. I’ve load tested the battery at a store, still good. I changed the 15 year alternator recently when it stopped charging. Since I’ve acquired the Jeep I’ve kept up with routine spark plug and wire changes and routinely change the engine oil. I also recently had the ignition coil and pigtail replaced when it was old and corroded.

Thanks,

Dirty fuel injectors.  Clean or replace.

Thanks
I added the royal purple fuel injector cleaner. It fixed the problem.

Thanks
