Love your YOutube channel.  I currently have a 2005 Infiniti G35 Sedan i purchased new.  170k miles and all still works like new.  However, your video scared me.  Thought i better sell it and go with a Lexus.  Like the 250.

What model specifically? If it’s an IS 250, it’s a decent car that’ll outlast the Infiniti, but the Lexus still costs a premium and thus, I would pass.

Scotty Kilmer says the Lexus IS250 is a great car. Other people say they carbon up because they're direct injection. As usual there's always people who contradict someone.

Personally I just think of Scotty Kilmer as a honest mechnic and take his word first. I know 1 guy can't know everything, but I'm a tradesman and I always defer to the guys with decades of experience.

Which is why if I got a second hand car that cost more than a few bob I'd go for one with indirect injection. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Sorry, couldn't help it. 🤣 I got the IS220D version (diesel) over her in the UK but I would have gone with the IS250. Only reason I didn't is because they said the new ethanol fuel wrecks them. Which is also up for debate.
