Hey Scotty Im looking to buy a mitsubishi eclipse gs 4th gen or a toyota celica 7th gen(both as an automatic transmission). Which one should I get, I really love both cars and I know they are not the most reliable but Ive seen a lot of people with nice samples running at great milleage if you mantain them well.
I've had a few of the 4th gen Eclipses. Nice cars with surprising legroom.
They can also be had at great prices used. Just don't overpay and have a mechanic inspect the potential purchase car.
I'd go Eclipse over Celica any day.
That is a tough question. What is their millage and price? How long do you want the car to last? If that is given you will get a better answer.
They are on the 120k miles. The prices are similar between 3000-4000. I want a car to last 5-10 years with the required
maintenance
Again I still don't feel great about either one but I would rather go with the toyota.
Find yourself an old Miata with a manual transmission, instead..
First of all they are old cars remember that so they don't have much life in them and they will eventually become money pit.
Second you don't who the previous owner have take care of the car
Third if your plainning to buy it as weekend toy buy eclipse, but for daily driving NO
Take them for test drive also get them inspected by reliable mechanic before handing over the cash okay
