Hey Scotty, I am looking at getting a used SUV it’s my first car purchase and right now used car prices have gone up a lot. Since I am looking at spending between 20 and 35k I want to get a good reliable SUV. I have been looking at the 4Runner and I noticed that the used base SR5 models from 2019-2017 are more expensive or the same price as a brand new 2021 model in the color I want. Do you know why this might be the case and have any advice on what to do.
Yeah I agree with Scotty, get yourself a new one with factory warranty..
However, if you don’t need an SUV, get a regular sedan like a used Camry or an Accord. Then you won’t have to pay a premium for the pricey SUVs.
They are great vehicles but the world is gone insane with used car prices and new car prices so the money and you just going to have to figure it myself for example my son just bought a brand new Toyota sienna because the used ones cost as much as the new ones
