Saw Scotty's review of the 2005 Ford Five Hundred. He talked about how the vehicle was surprisingly good and reliable and he recommended buying one.
I'm looking at a 2005 Ford Freestyle with about 22K miles for $9000.
As I understand, it's effectively the same vehicle as the Five Hundred.
I think the price is a bit high, but you can't beat the mileage. What do you guys think?

Are you certain the mileage is accurate? It is suspiciously low for a 21-year-old car. That also sounds like way too much money for an old Ford, regardless of mileage. Age takes its toll.
If you decide to proceed be sure to have a good mechanic give the vehicle a thorough inspection before purchase.
