Scotty looking to buy a new car stuck between a Toyota Camry 2018 or newer or a Honda Civic 2017 or newer. I normally keep my cars until they die. I have a 2010 Honda Civic over 200,000 miles on it. Just seeing which one you would recommend that is reliability and durability and long-lasting more than anything. Thanks
Canβt go wrong with a Toyota or Honda. 😉Β
You are talking about two different categories of the cars. If you want small sedan, like Civic, you should compare it with Corolla, not Camry. If you are looking for a bit larger sedan, you should look for Accord or Camry. Since all fiur mentioned models are equally reliable and good cars, the only thing for you is to see which one appeals more to you. And also do the test ride and see the difference. I found subtle differences in ride between Toyota and Honda, where I found Honda bit stiffer (sportier), and Toyota smoother (more comfortable), but most people cannot even tell the difference.
Both are excellent cars. The Camry is larger and more robust than the Civic. Each one is capable of exceeding 200,000 miles if driven calmly and all of the recommend services are performed in a timely manner. Honda lost it's focus a few years ago but is doing a good job again. You can's gp wrong with either if you take care of them. While it's a coin toss, it depens on how large a car you want or need. Personally, I'd choose the Camry but that's just my personal preference.
