Hi Scotty,
I have a 2006 Kia Spectra SX with a Manual Transmission, and about 192k miles. I was driving down the freeway at a little over freeway speeds, and my car completely lost spark. It turns over but won't fire. I'm getting nothing from my coil packs. I replaced both the camshaft and crankshaft positioning sensors, with no improvement. I removed the coil packs, and took them to an Autozone to be tested, and no issues were found. What would your next suggestion be to try to determine why I have no spark?
Thanks,
Dustin J Sutton
check your fuses
Are you measuring 12V on the coil input?
how do you know have a loss of spark? It is possible aftermarket sensors can never fix your problem for life, the ignition module, wiring can go bad as well. I can recall bad air flower meters causing a cut in the ignition to prevent damage.
