Hi,
My Audi A3 2011 automatic (50,000 km mileage & NO OBDII ERROR CODES) might have some transmission problems. I just wanted to know if transmission problems will affect all gear shiftings, because i notice the car shudders only when shifting from gear 1 to gear 2 (accelerating from a complete stop) and it shudders also during low acceleration in reverse gear. there is no issue with all other gear speed shiftings. If there is a problem with the transmissions shouldnt there be issues when shifting from 2 to 3, 3 to 4 and so on? Maybe it isnt a transmission issue because it does it in reverse gear as well??, could it be air intake or spark plugs?? What type of problem occurs only at low acceleration from a stop?
Thanks for any help in advance!
Audi's all become endless money pets and yours is starting to dig a big hole transmissions can go out many way so that only one gear x up or a couple of gears and not even consistently sometimes it might slam into one gear sometimes not but I can guarantee you yours is starting to go out might be a smart idea to ditch it now
