Hi Scotty, I have a 1999 Toyota Solara, V6 Auto. 125,000 miles. Had a new timing belt kit put in yesterday. Now I have a low pulsating idle in park/neutral. The mechanic told me the old belt was a couple teeth off ??? Could the TBS sensor be at fault? Runs great otherwise . I have always worked on my own cars, except for this timing belt kit. Thank you for your time, Jim Kleine

If it didn't idle like that before he's giving you a total line of b*******.I sorry didn't put it together right you have to get them on perfectly and if it was a couple of teeth off before your car would have been running like crap if it really was and would have made all kinds of noises so I think he's just a crappy mechanic
