LOWER CONTROL ARM 2008 LLBEAN H6 OUTBACK 222000 miles
I plan on changing my drivers side lower control arm. Symptoms include, worn out rubber bushing in rear inside of the arm. While going over bumps, popping noise, happens when I break, and make turns Sounds ominous popping. Started after hitting a severe hole in the highway while leaving Vail Pass here in Colorado.
My question. With just simple tools and my garage with jack stands can I change it out without needing to re do my wheel alignments again?
you should get an alignment
MountainManJoe. Thanks I will make sure to do so.
Yes! I recently changed my front axle, and the alignment was way off. Odds are, your alignment will also be off by chancing the lower control arm.
Kaizen, thank you for your response.
Wingman,
Thanks for the resource. Good information.
You’re welcome.
Any time you change suspension components out, you should get an alignment.
with the exception of stabilizer bars
