Hey scotty, I bought 2005 lincoln ls v8 with nearly 160k kms on it and its running perfectly fine and smoth, but it feels kinda slow on the gas. 0-60 in 8 seconds which is 1.5 second off from regular 0-60 on same car on yt so I feel like something not working what should I check for first?

Get it scanned for codes and go from there.

You're comparing the 0-60 time of a brand new LS Sport to a 17 year old LS. The engine and transmission have 17 years and 100,000 miles on them. If its running fine then there's no reason for concern over a second and a half increase in the 0-60 time.

Fresh plugs, fuel and air filters, maybe some Techron or the like to clean the injectors might pep it up a little.

Ever considered a new EGR and PCV valve on this 17 year old car?  Just a thought.

So I got 2005 lincoln ls v8 with only 157k km(im in canada), its running well and no codes all I/m ok, but it accelerate bad (0-60 in 8 sec) way off from youtube results even. And only thing I noticed is 50% load on idle which may mean something. I can probably drive this car for years and never have to fix anything but what should I check for if I want it to accelerate normally?
