Mr Bob Asks
On a recent visit to the dealer they wanted to do a lubrication on my 2021 Kia Sorento. I told them no but my question is: I thought all the grease fittings has been done away with on modern cars. Ball joints and wheel hubs don't have them so what would they be lubricating? The door hinges?
What ever you do don't tell my wife.

I did a quick search, and I'm guessing all they would do is lube the doors, trunk, hood, etc.
The main lubrication will come from your money sliding into their pockets.
I would not believe a dealer if he told me what day it was. Take the vehicle to an honest, independent mechanic for a real opinion.
trucks still do.
Mine has zerks on the upper and lower balljoints. And possibly the driveshaft U-joint (I still need to check).
My previous vehicle (a 2000) had them all over the place. 14 in total I think.
Nope these are my favorite pictures
