Lucas stop/slip on a corolla

Hey scotty, I got a 2007 corolla s. The automatic transmission fluid overheated from a leaking radiator issue. This made the transmission fluid thick, driving rough, so I changed the transmission fluid/filter and radiator. It help the rough driving a lot, but slips going up each gear slightly; no issue down shifting. When I have car full of people it shifts a-little better. Will Lucas stops slip be okay to try?

slips going up each gear slightly

It's not slippage, it's flaring -

So that's an issue with the solenoids, usually, not the friction packs.

Try disconnecting the battery for a while to let the TCM try and relearn first.

fluid/filter

What about the filter in the radiator return hose.

Try additives only if you're planing to junk the car.

Your best option is a junkyard transmission anyway.
