Hi Scotty, you're a godsend. My 2011 CX-7 has 84k miles on it. The car will rev up slightly when in gear causing the car to lurch forward. I have taken to keeping a firm foot on the brake whenever taking out of park and during use to stay safe. It started a few years ago, then went away, but is back. It occurs when it's cold or after running for a while.
Separately, the remote-start stop working. The systems turn on in the car and I can hear something click, but not start. I recently replaced the battery due to age. no impact on remote start.

Well I never mess with those remote starter systems are real pain in the butt but try my video make your car run better with a little spray cleaner and also check for vacuum leaks on the engine intake system
