MAF sensor flash programming?

Hey Scotty and group... I have a 2012 Nissan Maxima/automatic with 89,000 miles.  The code P0101 came up about 8 months ago and it said it was MAF sensor... so I replaced it.  Well came up again about a week ago.. same thing P0101.  Since I purchased part at Oreillys it had a warranty.  But this time the new one came with a warning sticker  that says "vehicle may required flash programming for P0101 DTC... then at the bottom says "see Nissan-  TSB #ntb12-051k.  The new one is installed with the service soon light also still on.  Do I have to take this to Nissan for progamming?  Sorry it took so long to get to the question.

This isn’t an answer instead a continuation as I have the same issue. Have a 2012 Altima with 103k miles and the sensor went out a month ago (car was chugging super hard something was wrong). Replaced the MAF sensor and for a month it has been working great. Yesterday service light came on and P0101. Since it’s a new part and the car is running fine I figured it was a fluke. Nope. Light came back on today. Thought I saw something about a possible ECM “fix”. Is this an easy fix for the computer to be flashed or is it something more?  Hoping it’s not something more serious. Thanks in advance all.

Based on the TSB you provided, odds are you need to program it. I don't think you need to go to a dealer, other professional mechanics can do that too, just ask around. It may be cheaper in independent mechanic shops.
