Can I make my 2018 Jeep Compass more reliable last longer as long if I change oil and transmission fluid regularly and follow maintenance schedule on owner's manual?

The maintenance schedule is designed to make the vehicle barely last until 5 minutes after the warranty expires. If it says change the oil and filter every 10,000 miles, do it every 5,000 miles. If it says change the transmission fluid and filter every 80-100K miles, do it at 40K miles. Check all lubricatable areas of the vehicle including such items as air filter, clean MAF and MAP sensors, spark plugs, coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, etc.
