Ac blowing hot air

Hello everyone,

I got the ac compressor replaced in October last year on my Honda CR-V 2009 with Denso brand new compressor. And the main reason for replacement was a noise issue on the original compressor but it was working fine. The new compressor was good sofar but today the temperature hit 90 for the first time this year and the ac got its first test and it’s not cold enough.my question is, what would be the problem? Do you think they didn’t put enough Freon back in October because the weather was cold ? or does it mean the Denso compressor is not good ? Please let me know your opinion and what to expect?

thank you

They should have put in the correct amount of refrigerant by weight but some may have leaked out. The system needs to have pressures checked, and tested for leaks.

I hope you are dealing with a qualified automotive AC technician and not just a mechanic.
