MAP sensor covered in fuel (2020 Ford F150, 3.3 V6, 4000miles)

Hi Scotty,

I have 2020 Ford F150 3.3 naturally aspirated V6 that is suffering poor fuel mileage (15 mpg city on very light foot, crew cab 4x4).  Truck only has 4,500 miles.  Dealer says it needs to break in but I noticed MAP sensor is wet with fuel.  I need your help.

Thank you so much-

The only route for fuel to get in that I can come up with, is the EVAP purge.

When you fill your gas tank, do you try to fill it to the brim and keep pumping after the pump nozzle has clicked off?

15 mpg city doesn't sound all that bad for a full size truck.  The MAP sensor, located on the intake manifold, should not be wet with fuel.  Do you mean the sensor on the outside of the intake manifold where it's mounted or the inside of the sensor when it's removed?  And are you sure it's wet with fuel? Unless there is a nearby fuel injector that's leaking, I can't imagine where the fuel is coming from.  With over 4000 miles on it, the truck is definitely already broken in.  Is it throwing any codes?
